This is the very first project I've done for photography. We where given a set of 12 patterns which we had to re create using real life objects. However, we could not create the patterns or draw them ourselves, they had to originally be there without our interference.
It was a very enjoyable task, however it was quite challenging too. I am lucky enough to live around a woodland area so I used the things surrounding me for inspiration and picture ideas, but on the other hand, I also had a picture which I had recently taken on a trip to the beach which i could also use. I enjoyed this task because it helped me develop my skills in thinking about what makes a picture (e.g. shapes, colours, patterns) and as I was searching for pictures to use for the project, It made me delve into the photography process much more. WWW: I described the process and found 12 pictures resembling the original ones we where given. EBI: I used I wider range of images and made the images a little bigger. |
